The 2001 edition of CLEAR's Picket Guide was revised specifically for
workers covered under Hawai'i's collective bargining law for public
employees. This guide contains short, easy-to-follow descriptions of
the basic rules governing picket line conduct and organization for public
employee strikes, including information on informational picketing,
prohibited practices, common-situs, etc..
As in our private sector guide to Labor Dispute
Picketing, there is also a useful section of practical guidelines for
picket captains and a 14-page summary of the laws of Hawai'i relating to
ingress and egress, obstruction, etc., based in large part on the material
used to brief police officers assigned picket line duty.
This handbook is designed to fit in a pocket or handbag (5 and a half by 4
inches) as a ready reference. [44 pages]. |
