2001-8 A potential student who would like to take courses from UH-West Oahu but does not wish, or does not qualify, to enroll in a degree or certificate program, may apply for admission as a non-degree seeking student. A non-degree seeking student is not a candidate for a certificate or a degree and will not be allowed to become a candidate unless he or she meets admission requirements for classified status. Additionally, for courses to be taken to UHWO which require prerequisite knowledge (as determined by the catalog description or prerequisites imposed by the instructor), the student must submit documentation that prerequisites have been met, or secure written approval from the instructor of the course. Students admitted with non-degree seeking status will be allowed to register for classes on a space-available basis. [January 15, 2002]
